Wowww, well bloody done! Haha you even colour matched it to the new ugly Kids-These-Days green :P
The small details are important :) This is an interesting remote though. I thinks it's the most complex (with most LOC) remote we've ever built.
Great! Seems like it's all that was missing for me with the Unified Remote. However it doesn't work here. When I open the remote everything is blank and it doesn't connect to the server. My server is on Linux. Could it be the problem?
I am able to make it work in Windows but it doesn't in Linux. I noticed the file remote_linux.lua is not there. Is there a plan to support it for Linux as well?
Right now there is no plans for a Linux version but if there is enough requests for it we would reconsider.
+1 for a Linux version. These screenshots look fantastic. I would love to be able to use the new remote on my platform of choice.
Actually it seems like we should be able to add support for Linux as well. We'll look into it.
A version* working Linux is now available on GitHub https://github.com/unifiedremote/Remotes.
If you want to try it out, select
Download ZIPand extract the contents in
<your remote path>/Main/Spotify Advancedand replace the old files.
*) A slightly limited version: not able to seek in the track or change internal volume of Spotify.
@tkhduracell : Thanks so much. The Linux version is working great here! You guys are the best!
Edit: If I were to propose one addition (non-Linux specific) it would be a a "save" button to add the current track to the user's collection. I think that would be very neat to have.
