Can't access localhost, is the new manager inaccessible?
Background: I've used unified remote for a few years now, and I love it. I bought the full version a month or so ago but it wasn't working very consistently so I Uninstalled and reinstalled the server and android app. Lo and behold everything has had an overhaul. Looks brilliant, and the basic controls are working fine. Except for one thing- the new "manager", which I needed to access to login for the Advanced Spotify remote.
We use the internet safety software "safe eyes" to make the system safe for the kids to use. The software does not allow access to localhost to avoid proxy sites being used. However that's where the new manager is located. Is there a way around this? Can I access it some other way- I've looked at the server manager in the app but had no joy (status "...loading...")? This issue was a complete surprise as until today I had the old window manager pop up.
I'm hoping you can help.
Remote 3 Server, V3.4.1 (34003)
Windows 7 64bit
Safe Eyes 6.2
If you have a different computer without these restrictions you should be able to access the manager from that. You might need to change your firewall but go to http://[computer IP adress]:9510/web/. This should work from a tablet or phone as well.
