Raspberry pi got a hat that makes it in to a z-wave gateway with razberry (razberry.z-wave.me) as operatingsystem, does anyone got an idea how to make an remote for this. If it was possible it wold be nice if the remote would be able to both read and write commands to relays, smoke detectors, temperature, door switches and other things that are compatible with z-wave.
My initial thinking was if you could perhaps communicate over z-wave using a command line program. Does the OS have any command line tools for reading/writing commands to your z-wave system?
If so, you could do something like this:
actions.turn_lights_off = function () pout,perr,presult = libs.script.shell("zwave --foo bar"); end
