Would be great to have a bit more control over the volume remote. Replicating functionality in the windows sound/volume mixer.
Any plan/way to get this feature created, wouldn't mind investing some time to build it but I'm a windows/lua noob.
For volume we have done a lot of investigation and have not found a good way of doing this. If anyone have any ideas let us know.
In the meantime Alex, I know this is only a small part of the sound mixers options, but I use a little prog called Audio Switcher on the PC to change the audio from PC to HDMI (for the connected TV) with keyboard shortcuts, bound to Unified remote buttons.
[email protected] TV Audio actions.altplus = function () kb.stroke("alt", "numpadadd"); end [email protected] PC Audio actions.altminus = function () kb.stroke("alt", "numpadsubtract"); end
Just in case that's something you needed..

Thanks for the replies.
My use case for this would be to control my application sound (such as spotify, itunes, browser - anything) as well as video game volume, without needing to tab out.
This means I'm not currently able to bind to keyboard shortcuts.
Currently using Roccat Power Grid - as that has a volume mixer functionality, but would love to have the functionality in Unified Remote.
With pure lua I don't think so, personally I made an Autohotkey companion app to control all relative to sound (without keyboard, so is more eficiently). But some apps like nircmd could do the work also.
Yeah now I use nircmd to jack the volume to full at certain times, called in the remote.lua file like this:
cd = script.batch("nircmd.exe setsysvolume 65535");
Just need nircmd.exe in the same directory as remote.lua.
