Button to move mouse to show progress bar of VLC/Netflix, etc..
Thought I'd chuck this up because it took me a while to work it, couldn't find any examples anywhere.
When I'm watching VLC or Netflix in fullscreen, often I want to check how long I've got left of show. Only way to do this was to open Basic Input remote and move the mouse.
I first used moveraw, but the problem (first-world problem that is) was the mouse cursor stayed on the screen for a few seconds, plus if I used the button enough, eventually the cursor might "moveraw" right over the progress bar, then keeping it pinned to screen.
I now have a button that moves the mouse to hard right of the screen, then up or down 40 pixels, depending on where it was.
[email protected] movemouse actions.movemouse = function () x,y = ms.position(); if (y == 540) then ms.moveto(1980,500); else ms.moveto(1980,540); end end
It goes next to my media control buttons on my widget remote setup, and works very nicely :)

Haha, this is awesome. :D Nicely done.
I have since found that this doesn't work for me with Netflix in particular. After a bit of investigating I found that the fullscreen border as Netflix perceives it is not as close to the full 1980 of my screen resolution, might be something to do with the embedded video player in the browser. I found 1910 was the magic number - where movement was captured, but cursor stays hidden.
If anyone is interested, this works for Netflix (on monitor running 1980x1080 screen resolution):
[email protected] move mouse netflix actions.movemouseflix = function() x,y = ms.position(); if (x == 1909) then ms.moveto(1910,1035); else ms.moveto(1909,1035); end end
