How to autostart the server on Linux / Raspberry Pi?
Simon Heimler 00
I've just followed this tutorial:
But i've noticed that the server is not automatically starting. Adding this to /etc/rc.local doens't seem to work, either:
I've noticed an issue with the tutorial, there is one dot before /opt/. This will cause the command only to work when the user executes it at root.
I don't know for Linux, but for my PI I autostart UR with this........
It starts UR server automatically after the boot sequence...... maybe that is not what you want?
Obviously you might need to change some details / contents for your particular installation. I just have the server in a folder on the X11 desktop.
So in homes/.config/autostart I have a file called "UnifiedRemote.desktop" which contains the following:
Exec=lxterminal --working-directory='/home/pi//Desktop/urserver-184.108.40.2060' -t 'urserver terminal' --command='sudo ./urserver'
