How do I control Google Music on PC without having it in focus on PC?

Using Android version of UR, and Windows 7 PC. I'd like to be able to control Google Music features when playing through Chrome, when another window is in focus. Google Music is controlled fine when in focus but when switching to another window, e.g. using Excel while listening to music, UR controls the active application rather than Google Music.
Are there any brainy bods that could help with this? Perhaps UR gets the ID of the Chrome window handle and performs actions on that window?
Well, it's not perhaps the best or most elegant solution but you could perhaps create a remote whose key-presses are 'managed' by an AutoHotkey script.
That script could then send keystrokes (via ControlSend) to the Google Music window...
It depends whether they have already implemented "global scope".......
I think you can get it if you have "desktop chrome" (whatever that might be)........
If it is available then you can build a remote that will send the correct keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts will need to be more complex (ctrl-alt-1 for example) so as not to affect the program that currently has focus, and the Google Music app will be listening for them whilst running in the background......... (no need for it to be given focus)..... In fact, if you are using excel or indeed anything that already uses complex shortcuts then you will need to make sure that there are no clashes...........
Otherwise you are probably out of luck, although you might be able to interrogate the app for it's window handle and pass it messages...... but what messages?
That would be much harder to implement.......
