Would it be possible to implement a scroll (up & down) when pressing the "next track" or "previous track" button ?
This way it make it easier for the user to follow what he's listening only relying on the remote.
Hi. I had a play with this, I can see what you are after. Because the browser doesn't know what you are wanting to see, the only way I can think to implement this is to have the down arrow pressed a few times after each tap of the Next Track button (and Up for Previous), or emulate a couple of scrolls of the mouse wheel.
But it would be a little messy. If you manually adjust the browser window with the scroll bar to show the current track at the top of the screen, and tap Next then press the down arrow or the scroll wheel a set number of times, after a while it would start scrolling further past track. You can try this yourself to see what I mean. Especially because sometimes a "track" on Soundcloud will include a few entries under it (remixes etc), so the on-screen distance will change.
Only other way would be to utilise the sites backend coding to jump back and forward amongst the list items, ie:
I dont know if thats possible. Its been a long time since my web coding days haha. I will post around on a couple of forums and get back about that.
But if you were happy enough to have a few key presses after tap, let me know and I will knock this up for you.
I've only just stumbled upon the greatness that is unifiedRemote this morning after deciding I needed to be able to control my office's music laptop from my phone, so forgive my ignorance/stupidity, but couldn't this be achieved by using JS to check that the .active .soundList__item is in the viewport and if not, adjust the scroll position accordingly?
