A research paper was published recently about open ports used by server software
to serve remote client and related vulnerabilities.
Here's the link [pdf] to the paper: https://eecs.umich.edu/eecs/about/articles/2017/open_euro17.pdf
And here's the Wired article that summarizes the issue: https://www.wired.com/2017/04/obscure-app-flaw-creates-backdoors-millions-smartphones/
My question is - is Unified Remote affected by this vulnerability? Do you plan to implement additional security measures mentioned in the paper, like verification by scanning an QR code?
Thank you for your attention.
