Well with your help I managed to get it working great! Thank you very much for that it's appreciated! I'm not sure what the problem was, I think I took out the "command" button binds by renaming them to something else.

Such a powerful app, and combined with autohotkey you can do anything. It's useful for me because I have my laptop hooked into my TV, and obviously I don't want to be sat 2mm away from it haha!

Thanks for your help once again! I may have to have a play around and try creating some useful things for myself!

Hmm so I set up the Autohotkey script and the script itself works fine, but I can't seem to fire it from the remote. I may need to make a new remote from scratch as opposed to using the built in example one and just changing the data.

    Autohotkey script seems cool though!

That sounds cool. I don't have a lot of experience with scripting but I've done a little / some very basic ones. So the code you pasted earlier in the thread would be one to use for firing a screenshot, after mapped to the remote?

I wonder why we can't just map the keyboard button; it seems like an important feature!

Ah yes I didn't answer your last question either: I'm triggering the command through the Example folder for custom key remotes. There's a template set up in there with Command 1, 2 and 3, so it's already set up; I just needed to change the actual binding to the key.

    Thanks for the reply nathan323!

For OneDrive it's a simple setting within the application's settings. A tick box that allows a png to be saved directly to a screenshot folder when PrtScr is pressed.

I'm not familiar with Autohotkey no, I may check it out at home. But yeah, considering all function buttons are on the remote, it's strange that I can't get the simple custom keys remote programmed to press print screen.

I wanted it so that I can sit back and watch some of my course / tutorial / general videos that I actively take screens of for reference, so would be so useful to do from Unified Remote.

Hi everyone! Just started using Unified Remote and have tried making a custom key for print screen, or PrtScn, or on my keyboard it's actually PrtScr.

I've followed the tutorial, changing the button text and ontap text, but no matter what I try and bind to that button, I just can't get PrintScreen to work! I've bound the button to PrtScr, PrtScn, Snapshot, Snapshot print. I'm on Windows 10, and don't have any special keyboard layout so a little stuck. In Windows, I've actually got that button set to save a screenshot directly to my OneDrive, so the idea is to set up that one button to take a screenshot using my smartphone (I have the iPhone app).

I'm using the default example custom keys remote, as I know the examples work.

    Thanks for any help!
