I also want exactly the same. I didn't find a solution for the action bar, but you can freeze the UR app if you are disconnected from a specific Wifi (home Wifi), so the UR app is basically "dead" and can't run anything in background, but the Action bar (notification) won't disappear (except with a restart).

It seems I'm connected correctly, but it still always says "not running" no matter if it's running or not :/

@Crayon-Scribe Hey, I think you're interested, the/my problem is solved. Just read the edited part of my post. TL;DR: use the UR Tasker plugin :p

@Crayon-Scribe Thank you very much for your long and detailed answer with several options.

I also checked them all and also checked other stuff, too. I use GMD Gesture control which can do similar stuff as AIO Gestures, (I think even more), but that also doesn't work :/
Unfortunately that all doesn't love my problems. I have to invoke the stuff in the background via intents via an App like Tasker, since I use a Live wallpaper. If I don't find anything good I have to switch to another app.

I don't get it. There are QuickActions and Widgets which can activate actions or invoke them, but it's not possible to do that without opening the app?

As the title says, the quick actions notification appears every time I start the app. I don't want to turn it off all the time, I just want to decide when it should appear and when I want to remove it.

Is there any method or maybe even an intent to invoke and hide it? Maybe with Tasker or anything else.

    Any help appreciated :D

I want to trigger remote actions (like media control: next title, speaker volume up, pause/play) just like with the UR quick actions notifications on Android, but without the notification. I want to trigger them via Tasker (actions). But this always opens the app and then does the remote action. I use the same URI which are set for quick actions buttons (which is also displayed below in the description of the tap), but they work directly.

TL:DR; How can I run an remote action in the background, without opening the UR app via Tasker on Android?

PS: I really searched and didn't find a solution :/

    EDIT: Solved
I really feel dumb right now, but I'm happy the problem is solved. I really could swear I already tried it and it didn't work... but there's a Tasker plugin, which also works and it works even in the backgroud. It uses the same URL which can be created by the UR app (as an export via the share option) but when you use the plugin it won't open the app first to invoke the action, it just does the action (if it's a remote action) and shows a toast message. Thank you Philip Bergqvist :)
