    I saw that unified remote server is now available for the raspberry pi. I tried it and it works well with wifi.
    Is it supposed to work with bluetooth? (BT is now built-in in rpi3), because I couldn't get it to work, and was wondering if the unified remote server even supports it?

    Works the same for me now as it did before, i.e. just fine. The standalone executable seemed like a good diagnostic tool, though.

    Same for me. Everything is back to the way it was. Thanks.

    Installing an old version of the server is a quick fix which does not work in the long run - the file we're tweaking here is one of the built-in remotes, and those remotes get updated from the web after a while, regardless what server version you have.

    As for the annoying popup window, it should be possible to create a .bat file which calls usbuirtc.exe with all its parameters. The bat file can be configured to run minimized in its properties.

    .... or unified-remote could just recompile usbuirtc.exe and have it run as a hidden process...

    Should be a super-simple fix for Unified Remote, it's an easy bug...

    If anyone is interested - I found a solution which fixed the problem of the USB-UIRT not working.
    In my own remote.lua, the action looks like this:

    actions.ampOn = function()
        libs.server.run("Unified.USB-UIRT", "uuirt", "F42R0318815780AC1515163F163F163F163F163F163F1615163F161515151615161515161515163F1615163F1640163F163F163F163F16151540151516151615151516151615154015");

    end

    In the USB-UIRT remote's remote.lua file, I first brought back the uuirt action which was removed:

    actions.uuirt = function (code)
        actions.transmit("uuirt", code);
    end

    But that wasn't enough. I realized that actions.transmit has changed drastically in the previous version and it suddenly calls a usbuirtc.exe file. It tries to open the file, in my computer, from the path:
    C:\ProgramData\Unified Remote\Remotes\Bundled\Unified\Main\USB-UIRT
    A path which contains a Space, and the path is not encapsulated with "".

    So what I did was I copied usbuirtc to a different folder, without spaces, and changed the appropriate code to:

    local h = io.popen("G:\\usbuirtc.exe --send " .. fmt .. " \"" .. code .. "\"");

    That completely solved the problem. Only issue now is that whenever this EXE file is called there's a popup of the io window calling it, and that's really annoying. If this would have been able to open "minimized", it would have been much better.

    I really hope this feature will be improved in the next versions, because it worked just fine and this is just a step back.

    BTW: This fix also fixed the Unified TV app.

    Stopping the server, stopping the service (RemoteServerWin.exe), unplugging the UIRT and plugging it back in, starting the server again = That did not work. Still no IR.

    The second recommendation - using the usbuirtc command - that worked fine.
    So the only problem is with the remote function, not with usbuirtc and not with the UIRT device. This is what I have now. (And again, this all worked fine in the previous server version).

    actions.tvOff = function()
        libs.server.run("Unified.USB-UIRT", "transmit", "uuirt", "F45R067E5F2011201110111030301010101010101010101010101010101010101010101020111021101010");
    end

    For the record, I just tried your new app "Unified TV" and it also doesn't work (detects the USB-UIRT just fine but the IR blaster isn't firing at all).

    I made the change and this is still not working (although no error message this time).
    (I can see that the USB-UIRT device is not transmitting).
