One button for "sleep" and "wake on lan"
So here's a request, or perhaps two...
On the widget, I'd like there to be just one button for "sleep" and "wake on lan", similar to the "play pause" function in, for example, Spotify. When I look, it seems like there isn't a "wake on lan" widget alternative at all for the moment.
Secondly, this might be impossible but that wont stop me from asking. I use two displays for my daily computer use and I spent alot of time playing games. While playing, I like to watch Youtube or Netflix on the other screen. In game, when I try to use the app to pause, alter the volume or anything, the game gets minimized, which is annoying.
In short, is it possible to update the app to be used without any other full-screen program/game to get minimized?
For the one button for sleep and WoL, you can write a custom remote action to toggle between sending sleep or wake depending on a bool variable, and then map your widget button to that action.
@C0untZer0 That's not possible. The problem is that the Wake On LAN command is very special since it runs on the device, not on the server. So, the custom remote action would only run for the sleep command.
@Hewkil there is a WOL option for widgets. You have select "Device Action" > "Wake On LAN" in the action builder.
Meh. I take what I'll get. I'm happy to say that I now at least have a little botton for waking the computer up. @pberqgvist, thanks for the tip.

Hrm, perhaps you could just send both commands when you hit the button?
If the computer is asleep/off, the sleep command won't affect anything.
If the computer is awake, the WOL command won't affect anything.
Simple solution, yeah? :)
