UNLOCK PC Project
This is a project to unlock your PC running Windows 10 via Unified Remote.
Open 'remote' file and replace "1234" for your current Windows's PIN or PASSWORD
local _password ="your password here"
local keyboard = require("keyboard"); local _password ="1234"; [email protected] Unlock actions.unlock = function () keyboard.press("return"); os.sleep(800); keyboard.text(_password); end
thanks to the nathan323 and Unified Remote Support for the help.
- Note: if you are experiencing troubles to unlock your W10 it may being cause by a problem with driver signature UNIFIED VIRTUAL HID. Check this page for more details: http://community.unifiedremote.com/topic/585/windows-10-version-1607-input-driver-signature*
@Joseph-Hubbard I have (I hope) made you a copy........ although I don't have the original..
Download the file below.
change the .jpg extension to .zip and then unzip it..
Put your own password in the "remote.lua" file in place of 1234 and keeping the quotes......
Make a new icon file if you wish.....
You might need a second "keyboard press" line at the bottom of the remote lua file like this.....
local keyboard = require("keyboard"); local _password ="1234"; [email protected] Unlock actions.unlock = function () keyboard.press("return"); os.sleep(800); keyboard.text(_password); keyboard.press("return"); end
But I am not sure about that...... I am not using widows10......
Hi, I can´t download this remote from OneDrive has it been removed?
@stdlogin OP has broken link, but you can download whale-av's copy from post above yours.
Hey you guys, link fixed
there are many free windows password recovery or PC unlocker software out there, like ntpassword, ophcrack, or wingeeker.
some of them are paid, but maybe helpful!
Hi, Is there any way to get one command to unlock and lock ? I've programmed the Unlock PC command to an NFC tag, it would be much better if it were possible for the command to lock the PC if it's unlocked or unlock it if it's already locked.
To unlock pc, recommend you can use a Windows password recovery to do that, and Windows Password Key is one of the best choice.
I have a problem with the Unlock PC command. I've tried it in a normal wordpad and it works but on my lockscreen it doesn't do anything. The keyboard itself doesn't work on the lockscreen too, so that might have something to do with the command not working. Any ideas to how I might fix this issue?
@Justin-Stout you could try using the tasker app to create a scene that prompts for your fingerprint then executes unified remote command
