[Discovery request] Not sure if server or android trouble
Maxime Labrecque 00
Hi, my phone is a HTC 10
Got a problem with my application. I cannot connect to the server and when I manage to connect it works only for around 30 seconds.
If I check the logs on the server it only shows :

Sometime there is a handshake (When it works for a very short period of time) then it disconnect to resume the above.
I tried removing/adding the server from the app, removing unified remote from my phone completly, uninstalling/installing the server on my computer, and looked at everything on my firewall.
I was using this application without any trouble a month or two ago.
Thanks for your time.
Is the network running the connection connected to the internet? (I have had this problem when the UR licence cannot be verified).
Any IP conflicts?
Maxime Labrecque 00
Everything is by DHCP except my computer(server) so I shouldn't have any IP conflict. And yes the network is connected to the internet, I only have a small wifi router and it's the only network I have.
I imagine that you must have rebooted your router? Always worth a try.
Anything wrong in the status panel on the remote app? Licence missing? What does the "last error" say (needs turning on in preferences first). Does a "Force connect" work at all? Is "keep Wi-Fi alive" still ticked? Have you cleared the caches on the phone?
If it all looks good then you had better post your os, and your server version, and wait for the developers to reply.
