First of all - does anyone know if I absolutely need a server, ie. a Wi-Fi connection to have a slider control? Talking about one like the one included here. I'm looking into making one that works with the MPV player to seek the video backward/forward. Ideally over Bluetooth, but if Wi-Fi is a must, then I'd appreciate some documentation on getting it to work, because I couldn't figure it out on my own.
You can put a slider without a server like this...... https://github.com/unifiedremote/Docs/blob/master/libs/layout.md
But if it should control or be controlled by a computer then you will need a UR server.
Blutooth is essentially the same as Wi-Fi....... just very local (short range), and often more difficult to get working properly (depends on OS....... and often flakey drivers).
You should get help with connections here......https://www.unifiedremote.com/help..... maybe.
Thanks. I added that slider, but I'm not sure if I can do anything with it, I don't know how to give it some sort of function. The ideal scenario would be for a way to make every point of the slider have a function. So that I could make it be 1% do "seek video to 1%", and so on until 100%. Any idea if this is possible?
