    Currently it seems this feature is for only the <layout> level tag.

    My case: I have a video controller were I have one tab for controlling the frontend media program, and a second for the video itself. So I'd like up/down on the first to let me browse through my movie collection, and up/down on the second to rewind/forward the movie.

    No luck on my end. I've tried all below, and they either don't work at all while the rest of the controller works fine, or they "corrupt" the controller and make it stop appearing on the phone (this happens if the address has "" instead of "/"). I'm on Windows.

    actions.open_kodi = function ()
    os.start("C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\kodi.exe");
    end

    actions.open_kodi = function ()
    os.start("C:/Program Files (x86)/Kodi/kodi.exe");
    end

    actions.open_kodi = function ()
    os.open("C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\kodi.exe");
    end

    actions.open_kodi = function ()
    os.open("C:/Program Files (x86)/Kodi/kodi.exe");
    end

    I tried "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\kodi.exe" too (uh, weird, that's formatted here - that'd be two "\" on the address of this paragraph, which explains why your line suggested it like that on the first place when the docs mention two). I also tried with another program in a different remote, just in case there's something about this one.

    Actually, it works. It's two slashes, and the command is like nathan said. For some weird reason you have to kind of wait, I suppose? Or restart Unified Remote in a more hardcore way, like getting rid of it from task manager and then starting it all again. It takes a while and some brief wrestling, but it will work.

    What's the function for opening a .exe? For example, C:\Program Files\MPV\mpv.exe

    I gotta leave now and just saw this. I'm terribly impressed on a first look. If this works you're the king, thanks!

    I never answered this, sorry. It was a good idea, but it didn't work. The button gets even more slow if I do this.

    It's okay though, I can live with the current velocity.

    Honestly that is way too complicated for me to fully grasp, but I semi-understand what you're talking about. I'm really surprised at this though, you're good. So you think this would work in theory with what we currently have or do we need more features?

    Thanks. I added that slider, but I'm not sure if I can do anything with it, I don't know how to give it some sort of function. The ideal scenario would be for a way to make every point of the slider have a function. So that I could make it be 1% do "seek video to 1%", and so on until 100%. Any idea if this is possible?

    Sorry for taking so long to answer, I had troubles getting the controller to pair with my pc. Anyhow. I tried simply repeating the function with an "onhold" trigger but sadly it somehow worked even slower! Perhaps you could point me in the right direction as to making that quick loop, as I don't really know how to make it myself.

    This sounds oddly specific, but it's kind of very obvious and somewhat annoying. On Android, if you press the square button, to see all open apps, and from this menu hop into another app, and then come back to the controller, the selected tab will always be the first one, instead of whatever tab was the one you had open when you left.

    Sorry for taking so long to answer. I read your post when you made it, and indeed I somehow fixed it by playing around with the images. Basically IIRC I removed all images, it compiled, and then little by little I started compiling it adding the images one by one until finally, it compiled them all. I don't know what happened, but it's working! So thank you a ton!
